On 14th April 2023, YB Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport Malaysia officiated the Ground-Breaking Ceremony of Port Klang Port Reception Facility at Westports Malaysia along with Mr. Eddie Lee, CEO of Westports Malaysia, Dato Shahrul, Executive Chairman of KA Petra Group, Mr. Anthony Sivaraja, CEO of Port Klang Port Reception Facility Sdn Bhd (PKPRF), Capt. K. Subramaniam, General Manager of Port Klang Authority, Capt SC Chan, Board Member of Westports Holdings Berhad and Mr. Nizam Mohamed Nadzri, CEO of Malaysia Debt Ventures Berhad. Port Klang Port Reception Facility will be the first fully equipped and environmentally friendly port reception facility to be built in Malaysia, at Westports to process marine waste onsite. It will be built, operated and managed by PKPRF, a subsidiary of KA Petra Group.
